A simple, classic luxury… A pan seared Bison Ribeye!
I like to think of this as more of a method than a recipe. This could be applied to almost any steak!

Servings: 2

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Author: Alizabeth Anderson

Ingredients:
1-2 Bison Ribeye (or any grassfed steak)
Garlic, peeled and thinly sliced (as much as you’d like)
Fresh thyme and/or rosemary
Redmond Real Salt (or your preference)
Avocado oil (or grassfed tallow)
2-3 tbsp grass-fed butter

Instructions:
1. Peel and slice as much garlic as your heart desires. 2.Next, gently wash a few sprigs of fresh thyme, rosemary, or a little of both — these herbs will add incredible flavor to your steak
3. Pat your steak dry— this is crucial for developing a nice crust. Once dry, generously season your steak with salt
4. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Then add a healthy drizzle of oil
5. Carefully lay your steak in the pan. Let this sear for 3-4 minutes. Don’t move it! Letting it lay still is crucial for developing a nice crust
5. Flip and repeat
6. Add garlic, butter, and herbs — as the garlic and herbs melt into the butter, spoon it over the steak to infuse that rich flavor
7. Once cooked to your desired doneness (we suggest medium-rare), let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes to allow juices to reabsorb.

Once rested, slice your steak, pour that beautiful butter over it and enjoy!

Enjoy.
