Oven Baked Back Ribs

Ingredients:Â

Rack of bison, beef, or elk back ribsÂ

2 tbsp of your favorite BBQ rubÂ

Your favorite barbeque sauce (measure with your heart)Â

InstructionsÂ

Preheat oven to 350°F and cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil.Â

Cut ribs apart and lay them fat-side down on the sheet, not touching.Â

Season all sides with the BBQ rubÂ

Bake for 45 minutes.Â

Brush generously with barbecue sauce.Â

Bake for 20 more minutes uncoveredÂ

Apply another coat of barbecue sauce if desired.Â

NotesÂ
*Occasionally, you get an extra-meaty rib or two, usually on the ends, that may require a little extra cooking time.Â
I find 3 ribs per person to be a good serving size when served with sides. If making for a crowd, you can do two racks at the same time, just swap the top and bottom halfway through to ensure everything is cooking evenly.
