Unique and flavorful

"The unique notes of fennel and other slightly sweet spices make this a favorite"

Lovin it

"The Italian the summer sausage. I'm loving it. The Only meat I eat now is bison."

Ariel A. (5/5)

Very pleased with the order

"I just ordered a few items to try this company out. I am very happy with the meat. The packaging and fast shipping were excellent."

Estel G. (5/5)

Foodie dreams come true

"If looks and smell were the only way to judge this Italian breakfast sausage, you hit all the right bells and whistles… I am going to use it in a quiche with some sun-dried tomatoes, onions Gruyère , and mozzarella cheese. My other thought is to use some Cajun seasoning and onions buttermilk biscuits and gravy. I like fusion foods. I think it will just be delicious. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be …everything I’ve gotten from you guys is extraordinary… Thank you you continue the good work."

Delicious Bison

"Purchased my first Northstar ground bison and breakfast sausage after trying some at my daughters. The ground bison was used in a spaghetti sauce. It browned and crumbled up nicely with very minimal fat. The taste was perfect, not gamey at all. The breakfast sausage was a nice addition to stuffed peppers and also breakfast eggs."

Melissa M. (5/5)

Meh

"This wasn't my favorite. A lot of gristle going on. Just not my jam. Flavor was good though, but the texture wasn't for me."

Alicia K. (1/5)

Very flavorful

"Very flavorful, and I liked that you can see the whole spices mixed into the meat so I know everything is good sourcing."

Karina K. (5/5)

Linda S. (5/5)

Fry it up with bacon

"Fry it up with bacon and eggs, no additional seasoning needed-best morning scramble ever."

Q&A

What’s the sodium content per serving of the bison breakfast sausage?
Hi Marlon! There are 217 mg per 1.5 oz serving. 1.5 oz isn't very much by itself obviously but if used in a dish, egg scramble, etc. it would be close to the average serving size. Thanks for asking!
