"This is quality meat packed with nutrients! You can't go wrong. It is affordable and prepares well. No gamey flavor. My family will be ordering again from North Star Bison. This is how meat should be offered with as little human intervention as possible. Meat that has high mineral content and feeds the body and the mind. I prepared the Elk roast like I prepare my bed in a cooker and it came out tenderized and tasty... You could have never determined if it was elk or beef. It was delicious and tender. These are quality meats and the selection offered is nice also. We tried the Elk and the Bison and we both were above our expectations. We will be ordering again."

"We just had the roast tonight! Wow! It was delicious! Prepared in an oven at 325 degrees. Sear the meat in a roasting pan, add one can of beef broth, vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms) and place on the lid. Cook for 1 1/2 hours. Fantastic! I’m so glad we found you!! We’ll be ordering again."

- I want to make homemade corned beef it is usually made out of brisket would your round roast work
- We would recommend staying with a fattier cut for corned beef. We do have both Bison & Beef briskets, raw or corned. The round roast may work but likely wouldn't provide the same eating experience. Thanks for your question!
