taste good

"It is really good, though I probably wasted some of the good fat by following the AI instruction. I will come to the website to look for instructions."

HONG S. (5/5)

Love that this is an offering

"High quality, nutrient dense. I dehydrate and make my own supplements resulting in less expensive superior quality pills to store bought organ supplements."

David E. (5/5)

Quality

"I’ve purchased the bisons bone marrow, thymus and heart. And all three have been outstanding. The bone marrow reminds me of pâté I grew up with, only from a completely natural unprocessed and extremely healthy source. The thymus was equally satisfactory and today I’ll be trying the bisons heart! Very excited! But in all I must appreciate the care of each product, vacuum sealed double bagged iqf all the check boxes for how to package is ideal."

Iosif S. (5/5)

Nutritious

"It’s hard to find thymus at my local market, so I’m glad Northstar carries it. Like other bison organs, this one tastes milder than beef thymus, so I’ll be opting for it again when I need an immune boost!"

Karina K. (5/5)

Healthy

"I know the best sourcing and my little dogs are also getting the best meat around"

Lillian K. (5/5)

Bison Thymus

"I haven’t tried this yet, however I’m very excited to! It arrived in perfect condition despite it being so small and delicate. Thank you for offering this product I’m excited to try and experience possible health benefits!"

Sara P. (5/5)

"Wow, tasted like the fat on a T-Bone steak. I soaked it for 8 hours in a salt & water mixture, then seared & basted in butter. Sprinkled salt on top. Very impressed."

Thomas (5/5)

Used with other organ meat

"Used with other organ meat to grind and add to bison meat I already have."

Krista G. (5/5)

Was disappointed how small they

"Was disappointed how small they were! Thought would be much bigger bc cow thymus is pretty big!"

Tonya B. (5/5)

Thymus gland , my new favorite

"This was my first time cooking and eating thymus - I saw others ate it raw but couldn’t find any extra info on that , so I did a very simple process of soaking in salty cold water for 8 hours . Then I water sautéed it ten minutes with lemon juice and salt - then dipped in cold water again - then lightly fried in avocado oil salt and lemon juice and it browned up beautifully and was so tangy and buttery delicious ! I absolutely love it and am so glad y’all make it available ."
