Grass Fed & Finished Â
At Northstar Bison, we’re committed to raising our animals the way nature intended—on pasture, with plenty of space to roam, forage, and thrive. That’s why all of our Bison, Beef, Lamb, Goat, and Rabbit are 100% grass fed and grass finished. From start to finish, they graze on regeneratively managed pastures, never confined or finished on grain. This approach not only honors the natural diet of each species but also enhances the nutrient density, flavor, and integrity of the meat. By supporting natural grazing behaviors and building healthy soil, we ensure our animals are deeply nourished—and so are you. It’s better for the animal, better for the planet, and better for your plate.

No Added Hormones or Antibiotics
At Northstar Bison, we believe in raising animals with integrity and transparency, which is why we never administer vaccines, mRNA injections, or added antibiotics to any of our livestock. Instead, we focus on building strong immune systems naturally by providing a low-stress, species-appropriate lifestyle on regeneratively managed pastures. Our holistic approach to animal health—combined with nutrient-dense forage and clean water—eliminates the need for synthetic interventions. We remain committed to producing food you can trust, raised in harmony with nature and free from anything artificial or unnecessary.

How They Are Raised
How our animals are raised truly makes a difference—in their health, in the land, and in the quality of nourishment they provide. At Northstar, we raise our animals as nature intended: on open pastures, moving frequently across regeneratively managed grasslands that rebuild soil health, increase biodiversity, and sequester carbon. This natural, low-stress environment allows our animals to thrive without the need for antibiotics, hormones, or confinement. From birth to harvest, we prioritize their wellbeing, which results in deeply nourishing, clean meat you can feel good about feeding your family. It’s not just about raising animals—it’s about stewarding life well.
